noble and fine and uplifting as it should be

2/9/13

                                            THIS is handicapped access

I was  carried up a red carpet and shared some  terrific theater all after dining well and being slid out a secret side door two feet from the curb. I’m going to start to like this.

Last Thursday, when this actually happened to me, I was too embarassed by my lack of abilities to enjoy what any girl could only dream of: being carried up a red carpet staircase by young shining stars to see more.

I tip a wing to The American restaurant’s service and accomodations of  this wheel(chair)er. I tip the whole bird and all fixings, as always  to my daughter Amy Lee Connell and co-beauactor Shawn Fennell.

And I bow in gratitude to The Wilbury Theater’s cast of  Kristoffer Diaz’ The Elaborative Entrance of Chad Deity   –  Jo-An Peralta, Vince Petronio, Amos Henrick, Benjamin Gracia, and Stuart Wilson.  and especially director Josh Short.  They  lifted me.

Next time, I’ll know how to act (stiff as board light as feather) and really enjoy it!
